  giraffes\, elephants\, lions and hundreds of bird species\, such as the r
 are shoebill stork. In the southern part of the park\, vast Lake Ihema is
  home to hippos and crocodiles. \n  \nOf the primates olive baboons and ve
 rvet monkeys are very common. The blue monkey\, which was thought to have
  been extinct in Akagera\, was recently rediscovered. Needless to say it’s
  not easy to find. \n  \nEven if you don’t come across too many animals\,
  you probably won’t come across too many other wildlife-viewing drivers ei
 ther. \n  \nIndeed\, the tourist trail has yet to fully incorporate Akager
 a\, which means you can soak up the park’s splendid nature in relative pea
